About Amy
After the birth of her second child and craving the chance to drive change in Cambria County, Amy joined the leading health system in our region to promote quality healthcare for local seniors and families. In her position, she fused her reporting background and healthcare knowledge to produce and host a health-focused TV show, “Conemaugh Connection,” which updated local residents on the many positive stories happening at the largest healthcare provider between Pittsburgh and Harrisburg.
During this time, Amy earned a master’s degree focused on Healthcare Leadership from St. Vincent College. As State Representative, she will use her background in health care to fight for affordable, quality health care for our seniors and families.
Amy and her husband, John, are the parents of three adult children and are new grandparents. John played eight seasons in professional hockey including winning 20 games as goalie for the Johnstown Chiefs. He coached the Bishop McCort Hockey team for 26 seasons. Amy taught as an adjunct instructor at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and Saint Francis University. She is very active in our community and in her church, and Amy shares our Cambria County conservative values and is pro-life and pro-Second Amendment.
Amy will never Run from a fight
Amy has what it takes to be your leader
Amy is not a politician. She knows politics can be rough, especially when an incumbent has a reputation for running the dirtiest campaigns in Pennsylvania. Amy will never run from a fight, but she isn’t interested in getting in the mud.
The race for State Representative is about you – the hard-working men and women who make our area a great place to live, work, raise a family, and retire. She is ready to work for you.
